AutoMob UK Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions apply to all services provided by AutoMob and by using our services, you agree to comply with these terms.
1. SERVICE SCOPE
Our services include the repair, refurbishment, and restoration of alloy wheels and Diamond Cut wheels; Car valeting inside and outside; car detailing with ceramic coating protection. We aim to perform all services to restore the condition as close as their original state, when possible, but we do not guarantee a 100% perfect match due to variations in wheel materials, colours, finishes and state.
2. BOOKING AND APPOINTMENTS
You must book an appointment for the service required, via phone, email or through our website.
Appointments are subject to availability, and we will confirm your booking via email or text.
A £30 deposit is required for all appointments in advance.
Cancelations or changes to bookings must be made at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled time. Failure to do so your deposit will be non-refundable.
3. PRICING AND PAYMENT
Our pricing for each service will be detailed in your quote. Any additional work requested or required beyond the initial quote will be charged accordingly.
Payment is due upon completion of the service unless otherwise agreed. We accept payments via cash and bank transfer.
We reserve the right to charge late fees on overdue payments.
4. VEHICLE SAFETY AND LIABILITY
While your vehicle is in our care, we will take all reasonable precautions to ensure its safety.
We are not liable for any damages or theft resulting from circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to fire, theft, or natural disasters.
We recommend removing any valuable items from your vehicle before the repair and we do not accept any responsibility for loss or damage to personal effects left in the vehicle.
5. PARKING AND SERVICE LOCATION
We will need to park our vehicle next to, behind or in front of your vehicle.
Parking for our vehicle must be arranged by the costumer and it is costumer responsibility to ensure that there are no parking restrictions, parking fees or penalties and such fees to costumer’s vehicle or vehicle must be paid by the costumer.
If your vehicle is parked on a public road, it is the costumer’s sole responsibility to ensure there is adequate safe space for our staff to work and no risk to safety to ourselves, our vehicle or other members of the public or passing traffic.
AutoMob reserves the right to decide, in its sole discretion, upon the suitability of the location and will not be obliged to complete the repairs if the location is unsafe or unsuitable.
6. LIMITATION OF SERVICES
Alloy wheel repair can restore many types of damage, including curb rash, scratches, and minor cracks. However, structural integrity cannot always be fully restored, and the wheels may not be suitable for use in certain high-performance conditions.
Severe damage, such as cracks or bends, may not be fully repairable, and we may recommend replacement instead.
The valeting services will focus on cleaning and cosmetic improvements of the interior and exterior of the vehicle. We do not undertake mechanical or electrical repairs.
While we ain to provide a thorough and professional service, certain deep stains, odours, or damage to vehicle interiors may not be fully removable or repairable.
We do not take responsibility on bodywork and paintwork during the exterior valeting including visible dents, scratches, and rust.
7. WARRANTIES AND GUARANTEES
If you are unsatisfied with any aspect of our services, please notify us within 24 hours of completion. We will address any valid complaints, and in some cases, may offer to rectify the issue free of charge.
Any complaints made after 24 hours may not be eligible for rectification or compensation.
If we cannot rectify the job once we have re-attended, we will then discuss options which may be in the form of a full or partial refund or other options as relevant to each specific situation.
Our Diamond Cut Wheel service is a cosmetic hand refurbishment and not a Lathe repair.
If you are returning your car to a lease company or manufacturer, it is the costumer’s responsibility to determine if this type of refurbishment is acceptable. We do not accept any liability for any penalties or charges imposed on you for the refurbished wheels by the lease company or the agent.
8. WHEEL REFURSHISHING
Our refurbishment service does not require us to remove the wheels or the tyres from the vehicle and all wheel refurbishment work is conducted with the wheels and tyres in place.
We do not repair bent, buckled, or cracked wheels.
Diamond Cut wheels and Alloy wheels refurbishment are cosmetic refurbishment of scuffs and kerbed facial damage, which is grinded to smoothen and remove the damage, paint sprayed using compressed air-fed spray guns to match the existing colour of the wheel and clear coat lacquer applied.
Diamond Cut wheels are not repaired using a Lathe diamond cutting machine.
A hand refurbishment of wheels cannot always provide a totally new look to the wheel and on occasions, the refurbishment may show signs of repair or slight differences in colour.
9. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England, and any disputes will be resolved in court.
